Dance It Out
La liberté de bouger
Welcome to the world of a hampered artist, who tries as best he can to spread his wings.
Recently, the "movement" has become a subject that greatly interests me. A word that seems to be the perfect intersection for me between my studies at the Beaux-Arts and in film school.
Moving images : A basic definition of video whose discovery and understanding will lead me to question my earlier work, which was essentially realistic paintings frozen in a frame.

A discovery that brought me the zeal, enthusiasm and ambition to want to liberate the subjects of my canvases, to give them life.
I seek to infuse the subjects of my paintings with the dynamism of moving images.
This also leads me to question traditional hanging: a "badly hung" work becomes an artistic gesture, a way for the painting to let slip and escape what it carries and to interact with the space, thus extending the movement beyond the surface.
Recent projects
Dance It Out
This is how Dance It Out, Let's Think Outside the Box , my latest painting project, came about. I've been passionately developing it for a while now, and you can discover it by clicking here.

Videographer
As illustrated by my previous project, a large part of my inspiration for painting comes from the videos I make.
These videos primarily explore the world of hip-hop, dance, and, more broadly, movement. The quest for rhythm, dynamism, and energy are driving forces.
One of my most notable recent video projects is the collaboration with the young dancers from the 104 center, which resulted in the coverage of the Popping battle section of the major Hip Opsession 2024 festival. A very selective international festival to which some of these young people were qualified to represent their art in Nantes.
