This quest for freedom has extended beyond the surface of the painting and carries the canvas away.

in its own momentum giving rise in me to the spontaneous desire to break free from traditional hanging (pictures fixed on the wall, perfectly straight and perpendicular to the millimeter), using spatialization to accentuate movement and interaction with space.

So, I tell myself that a painting that's "poorly hung," crooked and not straight, can have its charm: let's say it allows the subject it depicts to slip or escape. I see hanging as also an experiment, even an extension of the pictorial work.
