In the past, I was mainly inspired by the everyday scenes that take place around us, trying through my works to create a captivating universe that attracts and holds the viewer's gaze.
My goal was to help the viewer rediscover the mundane details of their environment that they don't necessarily take the time to admire.

I perceived my painting as a “direct cinema” which is a genre of cinema which consists of capturing the reality of the daily lives of people, nations, and things as they are.
I complemented my paintings with video installations so that, without words, the video presented to the viewer the passion that led me to painting.

THE BARIBA RIDERS
One of my first projects dates back to 2018 when I went to meet the Baatonu people, also known as Bariba, in northern Benin.
A people of horsemen who have a special attachment to the horse, which they consider to be a member of their family.
